In light of the Governor’s recent statements we are currently seeking further clarification to the recent order and how it affects the golf industry. We have seen other states with similar orders allow golf as an acceptable activity like hiking and outdoor activities while maintaining social distancing. We have also seen other states where golf course have been shut down. We will be open tomorrow but hope to update you as soon as we know more beyond that.
With the intent truly creating an environment of organized social distancing we are taking additional steps toward providing a safe environment.
Actions we have already taken include:
*Extra cleaning and sanitizing.
*Removing the bunker rakes, so please do your best to smooth the sand with your foot.
*Bathrooms on the course will be closed. The full pro shop will also be closed, all transactions will take place through our snack shack window.
*We are resetting the cups to be upside down so balls are easily accessible without touching any other objects.
*We will no longer be renting power carts, pull carts, or rental sets.
*Driving range mats are set 6 feet apart, balls are washed with bleach, and baskets are wiped down.
*All tee times will need to be paid for with debit/credit cards over phone or through verbal information exchange with cashier. We will not be doing cash transactions.
*We will still be serving snacks and drinks at our snackshack window for taking out.
*All juniors (17 and younger) must be accompanied with a parent/guardian at all times while on the course. Juniors are still free with paid adult.
Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our staff & golfers. We will continue to undertake the precautions and best practices recommended by public health experts. Click HERE for the CDC’s recommended steps to prevent illness.
We send our best wishes to all individuals and communities that have been impacted by the virus.
